Features to save you money. ARO Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps do: -

• Easily pump from clean, light viscosity fluids to corrosive, abrasive medium viscosity fluids and can transfer large particles without damage. 

• Be used in potentially explosive areas. Most of the ARO Diaphragm Pumps are ATEX certified (CE Ex11 2GD X). 

• Self prime in excess of 8 metres with water.

• Operate dry without damage. The pump stops if the discharge is closed or at pressure.

• Have the flow adjusted from as little as 1 litre per minute to full flow with just a regulator or needle valve on the air supply.

• Offer many materials of construction compatible for the Chemical Industry: 

  • ​Offer aluminium, cast iron, stainless steel and Hastelloy on our range of metallic pumps. 

  • Offer polypropylene, Acetal and PDVF on our range of non-metallic pumps.

• ​Supply convoluted Diaphragms which ensure long life and reduced maintenance.

• Offer the patented “Unstallable” unbalanced air valve design which avoids stalling issues associated with other pumps.

Piston Pump Types and Applications

 

• Transfer applications: Involves moving a low-to-medium viscosity fluid using 2-ball and 4-ball piston pumps.

• Extrusion applications: Involves using a Piston Pump to apply medium -to- high viscosity materials, using Chop-Check and 2-ball piston pumps.

• Coating Application: Involves application of a material by either spray or dipping using 2-ball and 4-ball pumps.
